My name is Matthew Ney and this is my first year working for EcoQuest as a kayak leader. While I may be relatively new to the job, years of surfing and swimming as well as coaching in both activities means that I am no stranger to being in and around the water and teaching children. In my spare time I enjoy mountain biking, skiing and wood working as well as exploring the awesome outdoors that Vancouver Island has to offer. I look forward to getting out in a Kayak this summer and passing along some of my love for the outdoors.

Elisabeth worked for four years at a children’s wilderness camp as head lifeguard and waterfront director. Here she was able to experience providing fun, safe, enjoyment to campers during various waterfront activities, including leading groups on kayak trips, and she is excited to bring what she’s learned to the eco quest team!
