Our Team

The dedicated team here at EcoQuest is what makes all of this happen! From program architects & leaders, to our administration staff, we are all striving to provide the best camp possible, while making it a fun & engaging educational experience as well.

Lee Richardson

Head Kayak Instructor

Lee Richardson, BSc/BEd, founded EcoQuest in 2007, inspired by his passion for youth education and the environment.  As an avid kayaker and outdoor enthusiast, he is the driving force behind the continual growth and development of the EcoQuest programs.  Finding a way to not only share his passions with youth in our community, but enable them to learn and grow, has been a rewarding combination. Enthusiastic about the outdoors as an educator and kayak instructor, Lees passion is the driving force behind our programs.

Elisabeth Rogers

Kayak Instructor

Growing up on Vancouver island, and experiencing the beauty of nature through living in places like New Zealand, Colorado, and the Canadian Rockies has developed in Elisabeth an excitement for all the ways we can enjoy the natural world. She is currently studying to be a teacher, and is passionate about being a part of helping kids experience the outdoors.

Elisabeth worked for four years at a children’s wilderness camp as head lifeguard and waterfront director. Here she was able to experience providing fun, safe, enjoyment to campers during various waterfront activities, including leading groups on kayak trips, and she is excited to bring what she’s learned to the eco quest team!
