Ocean River Sports

Located in Victoria, British Columbia on beautiful Vancouver Island, Ocean River is one of the premier specialty kayak and adventure companies in North America. Ocean River continues to be recognized as one of the most significant outdoor/paddlesports outfitter & tours provider in North America.

Braefoot Community Association

The Braefoot Community Association was founded by a group of community minded individuals to raise funds and build a sports and multi-use facility to be used by members of different Associations. The facility has grown to include a variety of sports  & community programs. They also offer various  Summer camps including the EcoQuest programs.

The Victoria Harbor Cats

Victoria’s very own  West Coast League baseball team. A collegiate-level, wood bat league that has had many players selected for the MLB draft since their inception in 2013. The team plays against teams from British Columbia, Washington and Oregon at the historic Sports Traders Diamond at Royal Athletic Park.

Paddle Canada

Since 1971, Paddle Canada has set national standards for instruction and certification for all major recreational paddling disciplines. Nearly 2,000 Paddle Canada certified instructors deliver sanctioned canoe, kayak and stand up paddleboard (SUP) courses to more than 10,000 paddlers across Canada annually.  Paddle Canada certifications are nationally accredited and internationally recognized. 

Victoria Natural History Society

The Victoria Natural History Society (VNHS) was formed in 1944 and currently has approximately 750 members. They  are a completely volunteer-run organization. Members have developed their interest in nature in a wide variety of ways—some are professional biologists, others are students, while many  are amateur naturalists. VNHS provides an opportunity for those interested in the natural world to come together to share their ideas and experiences.
